What are your thoughts on Hummers?

You guys are still missing the main problem.

The H2 is just a Chevy Suburban with a new body.

Oh boy....looks like I'm in the minority.

I really like the Hummers and I'm looking to trade my wife's Trail Blazer EXT in for an H2 in January if GM continues the early turn in, or June if they don't.

With the incentives on top of the Employee Discount (which I get whether GM continues the discount for everyone or not) the H2 isn't that much more then what we currently pay on the Trail Blazer we leased a few years ago, so don't think that I'm anything more then an average income schmo, cause I'm not.

In terms of the gas milage, my Chevy Avalanche and the H2 both get about 12mpg (the 10 mpg or less stat is for the H1, I believe) and the Trail Blazer that we currently have only gets about 15mpg, so there's not much of a difference there.

And those who have posted already are right: H2, Suburban and Avalanche are built on the same platform and H3, Trail Blazer EXT and Envoy XL are the same platform as well. So as far as Hummers being more "dangerous" or taking up more room on the road, the road part's only true if you're reffering to the H1, and the danger part is subject to whomever's behind the wheel.

Oh, and lastly for the book, I have an average sized penis, a wife who is more then content with herself and don't classify myself in the 'moron' or 'asshole' categories (even though none of my cars have EVER been off road)
